News New offices for the sales organization in China
New in the "innovation area"
Bystronic has been represented through its own sales subsidiary in China since 2001. With the move to the "innovation area" of Shanghai, we are taking a significant step forward: The new subsidiary is more spacious than before and has multifunctional spaces. In addition, the Customer Experience Center is in the same office building, on the ground floor.
We are much closer to our customers in the Yangtze River Delta region and can present Bystronic machines and solutions to them firsthand in our new Experience Center. Furthermore, the location of the new headquarters is close to the Competence Center Automation (CCA) Shanghai, in the same neighborhood. The proximity to the international airport and to the Shanghai Hongqiao railway station is also proving to be a benefit.

The relocation to our new office building is a crucial and decisive milestone in the ongoing development of Bystronic China. Still making good progress
Despite the rather disappointing economic performance in China in 2023, which was marked by subdued consumer demand and a variety of challenges in the second half of the year, including the financial crisis in the real estate sector and with local authorities, weak foreign direct investments, and excess capacity in certain industries, Bystronic remained resilient.
Despite the complexity of 2023, we successfully handled a series of critical tasks, from cost savings to the introduction of new products and the optimization of the organization, and above all the establishment of the new Experience Center.
Multifunctional building
Guided by a modern and scientific design concept, the new building has multifunctional spaces such as an open office area, a conference room, a telephone room, a workshop, and a Customer Experience Center. The goal is to create a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere where both Bystronic employees and customers can avail themselves of business and private activities.
