You'll play a pivotal role in designing, developing and testing parameters for our laser cutting machines.

What you will be doing
- Design and development of process techniques for laser cutting and engraving, with focus on machines for our Laser cutting machines.
- Analyze material properties and their interaction with the laser source in order to define laser parameters for different application scenarios.
- Write and maintain accurate process parameters and test results documentation
- Develop and execute test plans to validate machine functionalities against requirements and specifications.
- Identify, report and track machine software and hardware issues.
- Collaborate with R&D team with the aim of integrating laser technology into new products and develop new solutions for existing ones.
Your education & experience
- Degree in Physics, Engineering (mechanical, mechatronics, electronics), Materials Science or related field (5 years degree will be considered a plus).
- As an alternative, technical bachelor degree with minimum 3 years of hands-on industry experience in laser processing field.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical mindset and strong communication skills.
- Fluent English.
What you need to succeed
- Knowledge of Laser systems, optics and automation in laser processing applications.
- Experience in testing, quality assurance or similar roles.
- Experience with industrial lasers (i.e. IPG Photonics or similar) and CNC.
