In a nutshell

The Global CSR engineer is the main point of contact and conduit for Bystronic local subsidiaries and Market Regions to the relevant Competence Centers when it comes to complex escalation cases, which cannot be resolved at local level.

What you will be doing

  • Lead and promote the Bystronic culture, mindset and values. Create a positive and inclusive working environment for all team members.
  • Provide support to the local 1st level, Market Region and customers (if required) in all Bystronic products and Solutions.
  • Provide support and information for the relevant Competence Center 2nd level support teams. 
  • Handle communication for technical issues between the local Bystronic subsidiary and the relevant Competence Center. 
  • Manage and cooperate with local Bystronic Service organisations.
  • Manage/execute a wide variety of support issues, if necessary, going on site to visit customers.
  • Coordinate with the relevant Competence Center interventions of specialist when required and collaborate with the colleagues in the same role in other regions of the world.
  • Provide solutions to improve and enhance Bystronic products.
  • Train and mentor employees in technical and soft skills.

Your education & experience

  • Technical school, apprenticeship, engineering discipline an advantage.
  • English spoken and written; local language knowledge can be necessary depending on the market. 
  • Min. 2 years experiences in technical field or customer service.
  • Proven track record in resolving complex customer issues.

  • Understanding of all Bystronic products/solutions.
  • Solid understanding of
    • IT/Software: Salesforce, SAP. Microsoft Office
    • Machine safety concepts
    • Mechanical Engineering
