What you will be doing
Installation:
- Installing, handing over and commissioning machines at customer sites
- Assembling electric, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical installations
Breakdowns:
- Resolving basic trouble-shooting cases, including the diagnosis- and analyses of the case.
Maintenance:
- Maintaining Bystronic machines at customer sites
Machine Operation:
- Instructing customers on - machine safety - maintenance - operator knowledge at customer locations (giving operator training to the customer)
- Performing CNC/PLC software updates / downgrades and test whether those were successfully.
Other responsibilities such as:
- Completing and communicating required reports such as:
- service reports and support request forms
- machine inspections
Your education & experience
Qualifications:
Technical school, apprenticeship, college, or bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field desirable.
Technical Knowledge:
- Ability to maintain and repair electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic drawings /schematics independently.
- Ability to do CNC / PLC updates and downgrades
- Basic understanding and knowledge of CNC/ PLC and drive systems
- Good understanding and knowledge of:
- Troubleshooting
- Microsoft Windows
- Drive systems (axis systems, handling systems), CNC and PLC bus-systems
- Mechanical systems
Organisation
You will be part of Bystronic Denmark and report to the regional Team Leader.

- Communicate and explain situation effectively & clearly.
- Build and maintain a solid working relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Understand the client’s problems and concerns and displays a motivation to be helpful.
- Understands the sense of urgency.
- Travel in Denmark and also to the Nordic countries
Requirements
- Valid driving license for car
- Communicates well in Danish and English
- EU citizenship
Your edge
- Work experience of minimum 2 years maintenance, installation and or service experience is desirable.
